Day 12: I have it and never use it. 

Día 12: Lo tengo y nunca lo uso.

One thing I don´t like to do is buying something I won´t use. Usually I give it a thought and decide if its worth it or not. Unfortunately there´s always something I don´t use but I´m trying to change that and be more self conscious.

Algo que no me gusta es comprar algo que no voy a usar. Usualmente pienso antes de hacerlo para decidir si vale o no la pena. Pero lamentablemente siempre hay algo que termino sin usar. He estado intentar cambiar esto y ser mas consenciente a la hora de comprar.

I found 2 items I have and I never use for x or y.
Encontré dos productos que tengo y nunca uso por x o y.

The first one is a primer from MAC. I got it a couple years ago so I don´t think I can use it anymore. It was my first primer, I remember going to the counter and speaking to a guy and apparently when I told him I always use sunscreen he understood I wanted a primer with a sunscreen and gave me this, badly enough I didn´t understood what he said and didn´t notice it, yes I know, even though the packaging said SPF 50 haha. So I bought the primer and started using it and noticed during the next months it wasn´t helping me much, my skin was super shiny and it was because I was using my usual sunscreen plus the primer with the sunscreen! So clearly I was giving a little too much to my skin.
El primero de ellos es un primer de MAC. No creo poder seguir usándolo ya que lo compré hace un par de años. Fue mi primer primer (que redundancia), recuerdo cuando hable con el encargado y aparentemente hubo un malentendido ya que cuando le comenté que utilizaba protector solar pensó que le pedía un primer con protector solar y para acabarla de regar yo no me di cuenta hasta meses después (aun cuando el empaque decía FPS hehe). Después de eso me di cuenta de que no me estaba ayudando y de hecho sentía mi piel mucho mas grasosa que antes porque aplicaba diariamente doble protector solar :/ lo cual era demasiado para mi piel.

I stop using it since I didn´t want to stop using my sunscreen. It was a boomer and eventually I bought another primer and forgot about this one.
Deje de utilizarlo ya que no quería dejar de usar mi protector. Eventualmente compré otro primer y me olvide de este.

The second item I have and never use is this Sephora waterproof crayon. I bought it after a friend of mine told me they were amazing and easy to apply, something like the color tattoo from Maybelline. And most importantly they weren´t very expensive. I must say she is right, they´re easy to apply and are lasting but I bought the one shadow I pretty much never use, I´m a very neutral makeup girl and even though I love colours I´m never sure about wearing them on me. So this gorgeous purple shadow has been hiding in the shelfs for a year and a half. Now that I look at it I´ll try to wear it more often. I forgot to say they´re also very creamy so you have to apply them carefully to avoid breaking the tip (happened to me twice).

El segundo producto es de Sephora y es un crayon para los ojos a prueba de agua. Lo compre después de que una amiga me lo recomendó pues eran poco costosos y fáciles de aplicar como los color tattoo de Maybelline. Todo esto era cierto, pero lamentablemente se me ocurrió comprar el único color que no uso, normalmente me voy por tonos más neutros y aunque me encantan los colores no suelo utilizarlos mucho en mi. Así que este precioso morado ha estado oculto en mis cosas por casi un año y medio. Pero ahora que lo observo me gustaría poder darle un chance y aplicarlo en mi maquillaje en algún momento, aunque con cuidado porque la punta se me ha roto varias veces.
