Day 24: Hooked me into beauty

(Día 24: Producto que me engancho con la belleza)

This post will be quite short, to begin with is hasn´t been too long since I started to like beauty products and give them a thought when buying it. I think it was about 3-4 years ago... I swear I never used to wear makeup in my daily days and I´m saying not even mascara. It wasn´t until I got to found myself again with painting and makeup as one. 

Este post va a ser un poco corto, para empezar debo decir que no ha pasado mucho tiempo desde que me comenzaron a interesar tanto los productos de belleza. Creo que fue hace 3-4 años atrás.... antes de eso rara vez usaba maquillaje de forma diaria, nisiquiera rimel. Mi interés por los productos de belleza nació gracias a que llegue a conectarlo de alguna forma con la pintura.

I remember those painting lessons, the pastel portraits hanging in my gramps wall, the smell of fresh oleo, the smell of old oleo... My childhood was surrounded by this somehow homy art influence. 

Recuerdo mis lecciones de pintura, los retratos a pastel que colgaban en las paredes de mi abuelo, el olor fresco del oleo y el olor viejo del oleo... mi infancia estuvo rodeada de alguna forma por esta influencia artística y hogareña.

Many years later I remember finding on the internet this Smashbox palette for winter called "Wish for the perfect palette" in 2010, and I mean it was perfect I read the reviews and even tho they were half and half I just couldn´t stop myself and asked it as my christmas present! I mean... I still have it today. And yes is pretty much falling apart by now but it has a sentimental value to me for some reason, it made me thought I could start painting again. Messing, mistaking, discovering again. I know it can sound a little odd for many of you but I don´t know it gave me this childish thought of getting my new set of paintings and gave me a big smile.

Varios años después, recuerdo haber encontrado en internet esta paleta de Smashbox para invierno llamada "Wish for the perfect palette" en el 2010, y me pareció mas que mandada a hacer, después de leer las opiniones (las cuales estaban bastante divididas) no me pude resistir y la pedí como ¡regalo de navidad! Imagínense que aun la tengo conmigo. Y si casi casi se esta cayendo en pedazos ahora pero tiene un valor sentimental, esta paleta me hizo pensar que podía comenzar a pintar de nuevo. Equivocándome, ensuciando y descubriendo de nuevo. Esto podría sonar como algo raro para muchos de ustedes pero no se, me dio esta sensación infantil de obtener un nuevo set de pinturas lo cual me hizo sonreír de oreja a oreja.

So that´s it, the product that hooked me into beauty :) by the way the highlighter is gorgeous! 

Así que este es, el producto que me hizo interesarme por la belleza :) por cierto ¡el iluminador es precioso!
