Day 5: Doesn´t belong to me

(Día 5: No me pertenece.)

Before anything I want to apologize por uploading this post quite late (19:00hrs), I woke up with a sore throat and I went out thinking it wasn´t that bad but I´ve been feeling quite poorly during the last hours and I´ve just go back from my meeting.

Antes que nada me gustaría disculparme por el retraso del post, me levante un poco enferma y ha ido empeorando durante el día, durante el cual estuve fuera de casa y acabo de regresar.

Now coming back to what´s important, I want to begin saying I´m very shy when it comes to ask people to use or borrow their stuff (clothes, pencils, whatever...) so when it comes to beauty products I feel also very awkward doing it. I just don´t.

Ahora volviendo al asunto principal, quiero comenzar este post diciendo que usualmente no pido cosas prestadas a otras personas porque me da mucha pena (ropa, lápices, lo que sea) así que cuando hablamos de productos de belleza no solo me da pena sino también un poco de incomodidad hacerlo. Así que elijo simplemente no hacerlo.

But there is always an exception to the rule of course and I´m talking about my mom, hehe, everytime I need something I don´t have I look in my mom stuff without even asking! (sorry mom) and use her stuff. Because either I want to try it or I don´t have the money to buy it at that time. 

A toda regla hay una excepción y esa es mi mamá. Cada vez que necesito algo que no tengo, nisiquiera me preocupo por pedirlo (perdón ma) y terminando usando sus cosas ya sea porque quiero probarlo o no tengo el dinero suficiente para comprarlo en ese momento.

I borrowed the first product last summer and clearly I have forgotten to return it, I´m talking about a protective lotion. I was going to the beach and wanted to get a tan without compromising my skin, so after taking a look into my mom´s stuff I found this which helped me to avoid burnings during the trip. Is not greasy and it did the work. Also I know fps 10 is quite low for the body but my dermatologist send me a sunscreen for the body and another one for the face so I didn´t have much of a problem in that department luckily. 

El primer producto lo tome el verano pasado y he olvidado devolverlo, estoy hablando de un bronceador. Fui a la playa y quería broncearme y protegerme la piel así que buscando y buscando, di con este producto que me ayudo a no quemarme. No es grasoso lo cual me gusto y me ayudo en todo momento. Sé que 10fps es un poco bajo pero para el cuerpo no tuve mucho problema, ya que siempre aplico antes un poco de protector para el cuerpo que me envió mi dermatologa y otro para la cara con mas fps.

The second product is something that caught my attention in my moms bathroom, after noticing no one was making any use of it I decided to give it a try, I mean the packaging seems nice and interesting.
I´m usually a wax/shaver girl cause really can´t stand the mess and smell you get after using a hair removal cream. So after looking at the gel I was expecting something different and new. Long story short, same old same old, actually is quite hard to get some removal done with this thing, so no thank you I´ll pass. Not for me anyway.

El segundo producto me llamó la atención en el baño ya que vi que nadie lo usaba así que decidí darle una oportunidad ya que el empaque se veía interesante y lindo. Usualmente prefiero la cera y el rastrillo, no soporto el olor y el desastre que viene al utilizar cremas depilatorias, esperaba algo diferente con un gel. En pocas palabras resulto ser lo mismo, incluso falló en quitar vello alguno, así que no gracias, paso. No es para mi definitivamente.
