Day 20: Fav Packaging
Día 20: Empaque favorito
I´m pretty straightforward when it comes to packaging, I usually like to follow a simple rule: "Form follows function". If the rule should be broken it definitely has to be a damn good design but otherwise I want things to be sleek, useful and chic. Here are 3 items I enjoy watching :)
Normalmente no me ando con rodeos cuando se trata de empaques, me guió por una simple regla: "La forma sigue a la función". Sí esa regla llegará a romperse definitivamente tendría que ser un muy buen diseño pero de otra forma me gustan que sean pulcras, útiles y elegantes. A continuación 3 productos que disfruto tener :)
The first of them is the Double Wear Stay-In-Place High Cover Concealer from Estée Lauder (1W Light Warm) I love this package because it has a mirror, that´s it. I find that most of the concealers don´t own a mirror and that kinda bothers me. Also is very compact and you can take it easily in your purse and is very discrete with that sleek dark blue. This concealer plus Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer: Is a winner!
El primero de ellos es el Double Wear Stay-In-Place High Cover Concealer de Estée Lauder (1W Light Warm), la razón principal por la que me gusta este empaque es porque tiene un espejo, así de simple. Casi todos los correctores no lo tienen y eso me molesta un poco. También es muy compacto y puedes llevarlo con facilidad dentro de tu bolsa y ese azul oscuro lo hace algo discreto. Este corrector mas el Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer, es una mezcla ganadora para mi.
The second product I like are the Apocalips from Rimmel, beside having an amazing lip lacquer in my hands I like it has a very nice presentation and you can totally appreciate the colours. I think they look more on the high-end side. Also are easy to apply without having problems in the leaking department and causing a terrible mess in your purse, as you can see the formula is very thick and the colours are just amazing. I just love black packaging!
El segundo producto son los Apocalips de Rimmel, aparte de proveerme con un maravilloso brillo tiene una presentación muy bonita que te deja ademas apreciar los colores en su totalidad. Me parece incluso que logran verse más caros de lo que realmente son. El mismo empaque te deja aplicar con facilidad sin tener que preocuparte por que se te anden abriendo y derramando en tu bolsa, la fórmula es muy densa y los colores son extraordinarios. Aparte ¡amo el negro!

La siguiente marca que me encanto con su empaque fue Makeup Forever, y aunque no me encantan todos los empaques que manejan debo confesar que hicieron un buen trabajo con los labiales de su linea Rouge Artist. Me encanta esa onda que manejan con el negro y el cromado, jugando con la tipografía. Me parece que se ve elegante y muy bonito. Si no han tenido la oportunidad de probar los labiales, en mi opinión son comparables con los Revlon Lip Balm, pues son coloridos y te dejan tus labios hidratados a la vez, solo que estos labiales tienen una mejor duración.

Of course NARS has an amazing packaging with that matte black but I wanted to write about something different :). Another brand I would´ve love to write about is Charlotte Tilbury but we can´t get her products in Mexico :( a shame, but one day... one day! I will lay my hands on those amazing rose gold products (Ok I need to stop now haha, see you tomorrow xx.)
Por supuesto no hay que olvidar a NARS y sus negro matte pero quería enfocarme en algo diferente. Otra marca de la que me hubiera encantado escribir es la de Charlotte Tilbury y sus hermosos productos en rose gold pero aun no llegan a México :( pero algún día ¡espero poder probarlos!
