January // Tracks and Stars

I woke up realizing January was over and I thought it might be cool... well not sure if it is "cool" but for me it would be nice to share some of my fav artists/singers/groups.... in general terms: the music I have listened during this month.

And what a better way to start by making a quick yet thoughtful post about January´s discoveries. 

Let´s get started then!

#1 Say Lou Lou

They caught my eye during December but what the heck they are still on my playlist and I must say: "I love this sisters!". They have a soft and mellow sound mixed with electronic and acoustic vibes. They are so girly and I just can´t stop listening to them. Go for the Swedish/Australian duo! 

I predict this year will be their year I don´t know I just have a feeling. 

All their songs are catchy go and listen to them! 

#2 CHVRCHES

Where they´ve been hiding?! Apparently I arrived a little late to the party but in my defense I have never listened to them in this side of the globe. I love their sound, makes me wanna dance and for some reason I feel happier when I listen to them :D seriously! No joke. I even worry about it sometimes but it fades away after I press play ;).

#3 Vampire Weekend

I used to have a kind of love/morehate relationship with this band from NYC. I just was into one song and that was it I got bored after listening to the other songs (I know, brutally honest jeez!) but I must say all these years I WAS WRONG. 

Now I am hooked up... badly. I don´t know if it is the new album or the fact that I got to see them singing live in the CC13 but I have changed my views with them, thankfully. I guess I realized how AMAZING! they are, I couldn´t even see Ezra properly in the gig because it was packed but men... I was loving every minute. I just felt this relaxing happy vibe in the middle of everything while I was watching the sunset, sitting on the grass and having a Jack Daniel´s with my sunglasses on.

Here are two of my fav songs from the new album tho.. they´re ALL my favorite songs hehe.

 

That´s it for this month! I don´t wanna get to excited because I´ll go on and on without shutting up or "writing up", there is a huge amount of music out there but I really tried to minimize it to 3.
